Decca Euphoria !!!

Yup... thatz the name given for the ongoing celebrations for the 10 year relationship between Wipro and Cisco. This seems to be a 3 months long event. Yesterday there was competition for Wisco Idol (singing competition). A stage was setup @ K2 office. Around 15 members participated. Ma frnd Haribaba was one among them... 2 rounds were there. I was sure that he'll come in the first four. As expected he got selected. I was roaming arnd the place taking snaps. After the competition there was the DJ night. As usual :-). But for some reason I didn't break loose yesterday... All other time, if I remember for around four occassions since I joined, I did something especially for this event... DJ was fantastic.. could see many new faces doing party dancing excellently well... I just said some lame execuses and kept myself away from that... Whatz happening to meeeeee ??????? Am I growing old ??? :-((((((.

Everything went well and ended gracefully....

Looking forward for much more events to come up....

X'mas @ Sweet Angels, Orphanage, Bangalore

First of all thanks to Jyothis group for arranging this event and allowing us to be a part of the same. Myself and Sinkom had been to Sweet angels, Orphanage last weekend along with other members of Jyothis for celebrating X'mas with the children there. We reached there by 3.00 pm with a big X'mas cake and few fun items. The place was literaly a "hulli". Found around 20 kids of different age. They all welcomed us with a pleasent smile and a hearty namaskar. They might be trained to do this towards anyone who visit them with a helping hand. But it was really a warm welcome. We cut the cake, and organised some games where all the kids participated with full enthu. They were singing, dancing playing like they have never done before. Prizes were distributed for winners. We too had a nice time with them. I could record some videos and click some snaps of the event. Few I've uploaded to http://picasaweb.google.com/chandran.vinu .
By 7.00 pm we said bye to all and wished them a merry christmas and a prosperous new year.

Am proud and happy to be a part of the Jyothis group. (http://jyotis.co.nr/)

SE P1i

Got hold of a smart phone yesterday.... Hmmm yes I bought a Sony Ericsson P1i. Lot many things to explore in that... This seems to be an excellent phone with all the features which SE has got in their other phones. It cost me 20K, but seems to be worth buying.

Its been a long time since I've blogged. Lot many news I missed out... Will get it in, when ever time permits...

Dead or Alive !!!

Counting it to four as of today and not expecting to get the count increment anymore. :-(

First it was Vipin Cruz, my classmate in BSc. CS. Year 1997. 14 member team in 7 bikes went to Palaruvi waterfalls to celebrate the runnersup victory of the intercollegiate cricket competition. While coming back after an exciting trip, bike ridden by Binil with Vipin as co passenger skid along the way. Binil with deep wounds left Vipin in a coma stage with internal blood clot in the brain. Unforgettable 22 days in Trivandrum Medical college hospital for many of us.
Day n night few of us were there beside him. Sleepless nights !!! Few nights in footpath and few other nights infront steps of Bloodbank while one can sit along with Vipin near his bed in general ward. We went in a rotation basis day to day. He got recovered 70% at the end of 22nd day and got discharged. The day when we felt we've achieved something for our die hard effort. Myself and sinkom called a taxi and safely took him back to his house @ NTA. But ended up
in supension from college and had to pay condonation (fine) for getting back to college and write examination. This was the punishment for 6 of us for not attending class for all those days. But we never minded. Josh was there with all of us 'coz we've saved someones life.

Second it was Dhanya Vasudevan. Year 1999. I've never met her before. One of my classmates fathers friends daughter. Came to Trivandrum Regional Cancer Center from Kozhikode, for treating Dhanya for acute Blood cancer. Mr. Vasudevan, Dhanyas father literealy pleaded with me for aranging B+ blood for her on a day to day basis. I was out of college that time and was trying for MCA and was attending some crash courses for getting thru the enterance. Seeing his disappointed heart, I stopped going for the course and started arranging the red blood. Few days went past. Daily I could arrange atleat 2 person. Including my brother, many contributed. I'd to volunteer each one of them. One fine day Uncle asked me, "Would you like to see my daughter ?". I too felt little curious to see the person for whom am collecting blood. Can't forget that day in my life. How expectations go wrong. Uncle took me to the room where she was admitted. Pushed open the door and there I could find something which I never thought that way. A pale figure covered with just a single piece of blanket. For a minute I asked myself, is that a human being ? Not even a single hair on the head. Entire face n body skin was torned. She can't wear clothes 'coz it might tear appart the skin. She welcomed me with a warm smile. Uncle introduced me to her. It was very difficult for me initially to start of the conversation 'coz I was not yet out of the shock of my life. But we became friends soon. Her parents were at the edge of loosing hope. An extra energy filled up my nerves. Hmm yes I should rescue her for their family. Day by day it became difficult to get 2 people for blood donation. With the help of my friends, I started approaching many colleges. Few helped me.. But still it became a never ending process. And a day came when I couldn't arrange anyone. I know I'm B+. But had not donated coz I was under weight that time. Still I asked the nurse in charge to get it from me as much as possible. Nurse asked me to standup on a weighing machine and rejected to take my blood, telling me that if she takes blood from me then, I might get admitted as my body was really week. The day when I felt really helpless. Uncle arranged some bottles of blood from someother blood banks. Days went past and I got the interview call from IISc. Bangalore on Feb 15th 1999. I met her the last time. Told her about the interview call. Till that time I'd written many MCA enterances spending atleast 8K of my fathers money. I was reluctant to go to b'lore for writing this test/interview. But she gave me hope. That time her condition was really bad. With much effort she told me, "Vinu, you'll get this for sure"... I came to b'lore wrote the test where 968 candidates attended from all over India. 25 got selected for interview. I was in that. Next day interview. 10 got selected from that and I was in again. Went back home. Wanted to tell her the new. But I've never met her after that. Not purposefully, but nobody was allowed. I joined IISc and got settled in B'lore. 3 to 4 weeks after my joining date, I got a call from home. She left us all and had joined the stars. Obitury news paper cutting I got later. Was suprised to see her original photo. She was really pretty. 9 long yrs went past, I still hold that paper cutting in my wallet.

Third it was Prince George Punnen. Year 2006. My childhood friend. A car and bike lover. Bike racer. Worked with ford and later joined as assistant manager in GE Money. Oct 6th morning, I got a call from Manoj (Coach) from native, giving me another shock of my life. Princi met with a very serious accident @ cochin and is taken to a near by hospital. Headon clash with a lorry. Not his mistake but the lorry's. All other days he used to wear his red helmet, and unfortunately not that day. Fate comes in many ways. That time Manoj didn't have much information. immediately I called up his mobile. After 2 - 3 tries, a police person took the mobile and told me, princi's condition is very seriou,s he has got a major head injury and is taken to Medical Center hospital. Was stuned to hear that. Called up as many friends as possible in cochin and tvm. Meanwhile called sinkom and told this news and asked him to come down to room, so that we can go to cochin as soon as possible. Sametime I too started towards room. While driving back, got the worst call ever back from cochin. 0% chance for Princi to survive. Hez put into ventilator and his relative n frnds can come and see and then take the body. I literally cried. Couldn't controll my tears. That day evening bus we started for cochin. Morning we reached there and directly went to hospital. Ramesh and Coach was there and his relative as well as many of his collegues. Princi's mother was sitting still like a rock. We could hear her innerself crying and praying for her one and only son. His uncle was a big shot. He arranged some leading surgeons to fly down from Delhi and Coimbatore. And as a last hope they planned for a brain surgery next day morning. We had a glimpse of Princi that day while they were moving him from one ICU to a different one. Doctors were not attending any other injuries which he had all over the body 'coz none of his vital parts were working. His bed was surrounded with lot many medical electrical equipments to give artificial heartbeat, oxygen etc:- It was a sleepless night for all of us. Next day early morning surgery started. It was almost 12 hours of operation. Around 50 people were standing outside the Operation Theatre all the time waiting for the result. After the surgery, doctors told that now its 2 - 3% of chance. Nothing can be told now since his body is not responding. That day night for all our prayers his body responded. He survived. One of the miracle in the history of medical science. They started calling Princi, The Miracle Man. Tons of thanks to the doctors. It took one week for him to come out of coma. Days went past he gradually recoverd. Its one year since that incident happened. Still he has got few discomforts. Not totally recovered, but atleast we are able to see Princi in his normal form.

Fourth its now Deepu. Last friday (Nov. 2nd 2007). My roommate. HR Recruiter in Wipro Technologies. Aruns cousin. I met him 4 yrs before. Arun introduced him to me. He came to b'lore in search of job and completely dependent on me. After several attempts and tries in many companies finaly he could get in to wipro 2 yrs before. Last Friday, can say the hell day in his life, he started feeling some diziness and tiredness all over his body. Morning itself he told me about the same. Same day afternoon I got a call from him telling that the tiredness has increased and he wants to meet some doctor. I picked him up from office and went to a near by hospital. A junk doctor told that, hez having hyper tension and gave some tablets. I took him back to room, made him take the tablet. I went back to office. Later he went to his friends place eventhough he was not keeping well. By evening again I got a call from him telling that hez back in room and his diziness has increased and he wants to go to hospital. I was confused. What type of problem hez having. I came back room immediately and found him sitting on the chair and is not able to move properly. Bini and Sinkom joined me. We planned to take him to St. Johns hospital. We could sense somesort of seriuosness when we found that deepu is not able to put his shirt even. Rushed him to St. Johns by 9.00pm. After lot of checkup and analysis, duty doctor confirmed that this is a kind of rarest disease and is named Guillian Barre Syndrome. A viral attack which will stop all nervous system functions. Time was around 00.30 am. By that time deepus hands and legs were 60 % freezed. The only treatment for that is Immunoglobulin injection which will cost 20K per day and we need to take it 5 days. And this disease might quickly spread accross all other parts of the body hour by hour. If it starts
affecting any vital parts of the body, then recovering back might be impossible. Doctor wanted to admit him immediately and start giving the injection. We asked him to hold it and had a quick discussion among ourselves. Decision was so spontaneous, we three decided to take him back to native same day morning flight seeing the criticality of the disease. Called up Jayan back home and asked him to book 2 flight tickets for morning. Since bini and sinkom was held up
I planned to take him back to tvm. Informed this to doctor and asked him to take the initial dozage of the injection so that till I could take him to tvm, nothing shld happen. Injection started, meanwhile I went to office by 3.00am and took the printout of the ticket and went to room, packed deepus as well as my clothes and rushed back to hospital. 4.45 am. Time for us to leave to airport. flight is at 6am. Deepu's condition dropped down. 80% of the body was
idle. Collected all the reports and by ambulance reached airport by 5.30am. Once after entering the airport, had to leave behind Sinkom and Bini. Wheel chair was arranged. I had another most difficult part of my life. Deepu was not able to do anything by himself. With assistance of few crews from Kingfisher, somehow got him inside the flight. We reached tvm by 7.30am. Dinesh, deepus younger brother was there with a car. Moving deepu from one position to a
different became totally difficult. Struggled struggled struggled !!! Went to Nirmala hospital, took a reference letter and went to Sri chitra medical college. Deepus parents and few relatives were there. Ramesh's uncle was there as a doctor. After some analysis and going through the report from St. Johns, the disease was confirmed and stamped deepus condition to be highly critical. I didn't inform this to his parents. Automatically I became the front end for all the activities. After meeting the doctor, I went and sat beside deepu. He could still speak, but his body went to almost standstill. With a smile he asked me, "vinu sir... why no one is treating me ? Will I be able to get up from here ? ". Again, human sentiments aroused in me. Just ran out of the room, wanted to cry loudly. Calledup sinkom and just passed on the feelings. He too felt bad, since he couldn't be there with me. I was too tired b'coz of the sleepless night and travel. Doctors asked us to take him to KIMS hospital since they are not having spare ventilator facility there and anytime deepu's respiratory system can go bad. Without telling this bad news to his parents, took him to KIMS and admitted him in Critical ICU. It was 5.00pm when all these
things got over. Each and everyone were still confused about this disease coz it comes for one in 2 lakh people. The same injection continued there as well. 2 days went past. By Monday his condition become more severe. 0% movement in his body. Totaly down. In between all possible times, somehow I used to get in the ICU and speak with him and gave him the confidence. Tuesday, the 5th day, for all our relief, doctor informed that, the disease is not progressing,
eventhough it has not reduced. Means it will start recovering. Hearing that good news, I started back to bangalore. Now hez moved out of ICU and is now in general ward. Atleast another 20 days it needs for Physciotherapy. Then hopefully he'll be alright and can comeback as our old deepu. I get updates every now and then from his brother.

Thought of composing such a big blog, 'coz all these incidents have really touched my heart. Blogging this out of my feelings. Still manymore things to say..
but....

I had lot of self learning. I could understand what life is all about and more over others feelings. A very big learning curve. But I don't want anymore such incidents to happen. Have got enough experince for a life time. I thank most of my friends who was there involved directly or indirectly in all these situation. I should nameout one person especially, who was there fully or partially with me in all the above incidents. My friend Subhash alias Sinkom. Am proud to have a friend like him. A Friend in Need is a Friend InDeed !!!

So close to Nature

Two days went past like 2 minutes... Had been to Masinagudi last friday with my complete project team. Masinagudi is a forest area near to Bandhipur were our Lord of the Jungle Veerappan had survived. You'll feel so close to nature when you are @ Masinagudi, and totally away from all wireless signals. Neither cell phones nor TV works there. We'd booked a resort named Jungle Hut. Cost wise its slightly on the higher side. But the ambience is perfectly soothing for techies like us. Friday early morning 6 we started from Wipro Koramangala office. Its surprising to say that we started on time for the first time. We were around 13 members in a mini bus. On the way to Masinagudi, we'd some usual entertainments inside the bus, like anthakshari, dumbshrads, songs, dance n ofcourse light drinks. We reached the resort by 2.00 pm. Late by 1 hour. Masinagudi is approx. 250 kms away from bangalore. Had taken 5 huts for our refreshments and stay. All got settled in those soon we reached there and quickly got ready for the next assignment. Hmm yup, the known Jungle safari. There were 2 open Jeeps in which we splitted and got in. They took us through the jungle. All were expecting to see atleast some wild beasts. To our bad luck we ended up seeing just 2 bisons, peacocks and dears, nothing else. But the journey was amazing. Felt like getting disolved in the natures beauty. Green lush was so attractive, I can't describe. You shld go there once and then enjoy 'coz its above words. Little disappointed without seeing any jungly janwars, we returned back. On the way back we'd some masala vadas from Masinagudi town. Reached back resort by 8.00 pm. Took a quick bath and again assembled infront of the dining table with our regular stuffs with ice :-). Once when all were in little mood, one by one started performing there own skills. I had to dance which I do rarely now a days that too in such occasions only. To some extend I did well. We all departed to their own huts by 11.30 pm. It was really a fun filled day.
We had planned for a early morning trucking so all slept as fast as they can. Suprisingly next day morning all were on to their feet by 6.00 am after the hectic activities last night. All started for trucking by 7.00am from the Masinagudi foot hill towards the headup mountains. Trucking was slightly risky and thrilling as wild animal attacks are expected any time. More over there was a drizzle and the entire path way was slippery. Many slipped many times. There were many rivers to cross, water falls to see, many steeps to climb. Once we reached the tiger rock up above the mountain, we'd 5 mins rest sitting there and watching the lovely thick dense forest far down the hill. Sweet clouds were coveing the beside mountains half way through, like blankets. Awesome sight which none shld miss. Hmm forgot to say, I had not taken my Camera for this trucking since it was raining the time we started. Else I could have got some beautiful clicks of my life. Better luck next time. Climbed down the hill and reached back the resort by 10.30 am. Had a quick and heavy breakfast since we had to checkout by 11.30 am. After all the bill settlement we winded up by 1.00pm. Leaving behind all those beautiful and eye catching scenic excellence, we touched Bangalore city by 7.00 pm. To travel inside the city it took one more hour and finaly reached office by 8.00 pm. With all those good memories for the past 36 hours, all went back to their own houses. A perfect weekend hideaway... !!!

Tears of Joy !!!

This is day before yesterdays news !!!!

I could see a prospective fathers tension, live today... So much excited, so tensed. I'm taking about my collegue JP (pappan) who is sitting just beside my desk. His wife's delivery date was planned for Nov. 10. But few hours ago he got the news that she is taken into delivery room and its going to be sicerian. From that time onwards I could see him absent minded totaly. We both went for lunch now. At the mallu mess he was trying hard to eat and speak something which he couldn't. Felt as if he has lost his senses. He was holding the mobile in his hand near to his ears, waiting for it to ring once and hear the glad news. He had not wait for so long. Just after finishing the lunch, the mobile beeped... Yup IT'S A BABY GIRL... Tears started flowing out of his eyes due to over joy. We all felt so happy to hear the news and by seeing JP's relief. JP has become a proud father of a baby girl.

Congrats JP !!!

Coming back to life !!!

I'm lovin it !!! :-) haa haaaa heee heeee heee heee....

Yet again am successful in setting up something in linux... It gives me atmost pleasure when am on linux. My professional career started with linux n Unix.. Last 8 1/2 yrs I've been keeping this beautiful OS as my ever loving friend. Before joining wipro, I can say I used to live for linux. Day and night I used to do one or another things with this little master. I never had my personal /professional desktop booted with any other OS until unless there is a major need. (like for my friends who are non linux users). After joining Wipro my desktop changed to winxp. Had a bit trouble initially to be with a new OS. Got accustomed coz I don't have any option to change it to linux. Then I bought my LapTop. It again came with winxp. Went on for few months and got bored of it and thought of giving a try for linux again. Then I installed the lovely Ubuntu. Its an amazing linux flavour. But was not so comfortable as I'd used RedHat all these yrs. Recenlty I had a plan to move on to RH. JayanSR got me Fedora FC7. Installed last week. But to my surprise it didn't pick up my Wireless. Was so dissapointed. Last 3 days when every I got time I was trying to make my darling detect the wlan. Today I have split headache... still thought of giving a try. Couple of times failed in installing the right driver and finalllyyyyy Hip Hip Hurrayyyyyyyyyyy I succeeded... Now am UP AND RUNNING ON Fedora with WLAN on. And this blog is the first thing what I'm doing after WLAN is up... Am soooo happy eventhough a part of my head is paining due to sinus........

Three cheers to Me :-)

Dhamakadar Party

Organized an awesome party for Sinkom/Viji and Dhaba/Rosmy yesterday. This time almost everyone turned up from our b'lore team, except few. Total of 17 members were there. 6 families and 5 bachelors. Even though majority of them were families, we bachelors also had a private space. I could see many husbands taking permission for one or two drinks from their better half and secretly multiplying it without their knowledge. I too left myself free and went ahead and drank few shots. Was slightly out but gained control later :-). Have uploaded the photos to flickr.

Now Indias match is going on. But there is no cable coming in @ my home :-(.

Photo session

Day started with a photo shoot and ended also with a photo shoot. Morning I took some profile snaps on Bini sir for sending it to Binendra. He had asked me to refer some guys who can act in an advertisement. Binendra is working as a camera man in one advertisement agency here in b'lore. Later in the evening, we had an official group photo session in wipro park for the 5x project 5 years completion. It didn't come out well as expected... Now I just did a post processing of the snaps... Bye 4 now

Very Gud Morning

Woke up very early today !!! (5.00 am IST :-) ). Had to drop Rupesh alias Puresh @ airport. He came yesterday for a short visit from Doha. After a long time I woke up so early. If I remember correctly, last time I got up so early, the day I was driving to Trivandrum. Myself and JP (pappan) went to Salem in his car and stayed there in a hotel. Next day morning we got up almost the same time like today and continued our journey towards Tvm.

Today is a very special day for me... Need to be prepared for that...

Hare Krisna

Did I spell it right ? Yes !!! Here @ ISKCON they say Krisna. Its none other than our Lord Krishna. I had been to that place many a times before, when I used to stay at Mathikare. This time I was a navigator/guide for Sinkom's parents. Yesterday we all started by 10am and reached there by 11.45. Traffic was as usual really hectic. Were slightly doubtful on the timings, but we reached on time. Left the slippers and then went in. Visited all three mantapas. It has become more commercialized now. Saw the animated movie inside. Hmm and bought couple of things. One book on Krishna for my father and another one small idol of Lord krishna. Oops I forgot, I bought my usual sandal chain as well. I've been carrying similar ones from ISKCON in my pocket everyday for the last many years. I used to carry the same till its life time. The one which I got last, broke and I'd kept it back @ native. Now the new one. I feel more confident when I have that with me. Many of my friends who know about this used to make fun of me for such superstitious believes. But for me its more than just a belief. :-).

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare....
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare....

A Big Flop day !!!

India vs Australia match happening in B'lore. My collegue promised me a ticket in black :). Double the price. 1000 Rs one for 2000. Still I was ready to go n watch due to 2 reasons. First I wanted to see my ever loving sport and the stars, secondly I wanted to do some photograhy with my new S5-IS :). Match starts @ 2.30pm. I waited and waited for my friend to call me. Hours went past. I lost my control and started calling him to know the status of ticket. He tried his best, but at last to put me into deep sorrow, he told me that its not possible. With all dipression, I thought, ok lemme watch it in TV. Sinkoms friend (annan) was also there along with all other roommates of mine. Could watch Australia bat first. They scored 307. Got so thrilled to see India chasing this huge score. Annan had to go back to tvm today. Bus at 5.45. Dropped him at bus stop, saw him boarding the bus. Came back and went to sinkoms house. Arshad, Abhi n Namitha were there. Arshad's marrige is fixed and he had come to invite us. Within 10 mins Sinkom got a call from Annan that he has been asked to get out of the bus at silkboard junc. There is some confusion with the seat allocation. Next me and sinkom started towards that place. Lot many things happened there with lot more confusions. Finaly he could get a different bus at 9.30 pm. Whewwww.. Why is it happening with only those whom I used to drop at bus station :-). This is the second time. Meanwhile there was heavy rain and cricket match got aborted. After all those hectic activities jus came back home... I need to go for a small photograhy session tomorrow early morning. Gud night....

India in the nerves

I was never so tensed and never so happy in the recent past.... Yup Men in Blue, the Young guns, made all Indians proud... We won the Twenty20 World cup today. It was a very close match... Ind 157/5 and Pak 152 all out.. Last over the most tensed one... I lost my breath for sometime. And to everyones surprise our sreekuttan took the winning catch... It took some time for me to come back to my senses... My BP shoot up like anything... Gotta bit headache... Still watching CNN IBN for the critics and reviews...

My first photo session

Went to Hebbal Lake, B'lore today morning. Initialy I was litle lazy to travel so far, around 30 kms from my place. Manoj, my mentor in photography pushed me and finaly I made up my mind. Reached there by 11.30. Clicked some ok shots. Checked macro and supermacro features. But couldn't stay back for long as the place was entertained with illegal activities :-(. Found it to be a very pathetic condition. Why the hell people are messing around with such a beautiful place ? Could find lot of couples in and around bushes... Rest you can assume. Thought of capturing some snaps of them and publish it in any news paper. Then dropped. Its totaly disgusting... A family can't visit that place. They will also be treated the same way.

Will be sharing the photos in flickr soon. !!!

D E F# G A B C# D

Yup !!! these are my initial Violin notes. :-) Attended the class yesterday.. I have gone through this basic notes say about 15 yrs before, which I was in school. A very good priest has taught me most of the initial lessons... Hez very commited. But the real master has to attend me still. Another one more month, I've to practice without the bow for the next 2 months it seems.. I thought I'll become a great violinist in 2 months.. He heeeee.. now without using the bow for another 2 months when I'll succeed my dreams.. god knows :-). But am serious this time.... I've attempted learning this instrument atleast 3 times before which at tvm and failed all the three times :). If I remember right lastly I went to Nadabrahma, vellayambalam tvm. The instructor was so strict, he used to hit me on my fingure knuckles... :( Haann it pains... Couldn't get those beating infront of girls ha haaaa So I quit....

Cricket Cricket Cricket !!!

Two nights, yes two complete nights, Twenty20 world cup made me forget this blog. India vs England on Wednesday and India vs South Africa on Thursday. India won both :-). First one was a thrilling one in which Yuvaraj hit Six Sixes in an over. He bagged the world record for fastest 50 in 12 balls. The next match, that was on yesterday which was a do or die for India. India took 143, and SA if then need to come into final, they shld have beaten India or alteast shld have taken 126 runs before loosing. I prayed to god India shld win but SA shld take 126, coz its there home ground and it would be great disappointment for the spectators out there if SA is out of the tournament without even playing the semis... But bad luck, SA is out. :-(

Back to Bangaloru

Five good days got over like 5 seconds... Lot many things happened...
Day-1: Reached by 10.30 am. Slept for sometime. Took a Santro Xing for rent. With Nandu went to sinkom's house. Spent time there. Met Thadiyan ramesh.
Day-2: The most tiring journey with the junk Santro without power steering. Visited Chetathi's house at thiruvarambu, Pradeepettan/Deepachechi's house @ Kulashekharam, went to Nagarkovil. Many places roads were really really bad and I had a risky time with my bald tyre in Santro. Returned back at 6 pm. Whewww... then again to Sinkom's house. Abhi was around.
Day-3: Sinkom's marriage... Demo with my new Canon Powershot S5-IS. Full photo coverage. Could meet many of my friends. Afternoon a small drink session with Sinkoms friends. From there went to Reception party. Again photo session.
Day-4: Woke up at 5.45am. Got ready by 6.45am. Started for Ambalapuzha with my family, chettathis family for my cute little nephews, chooroonu... Took one nice shot of a kiwi bird there while waiting for ambalapuzha paal payasam. Came back by 7 pm.
Day-5: A small get together at Cafe coffee day, Kavadiar with all my old PTP Friends. Everyone has changed a lot. Was fun to be there with everyone..
Lot many things happened which I wanted to add.. A FUN FILLED 5 DAYS which I can never forget... but feeling very sleepy now... Watching Twenty20. Srilanka vs Bangladesh. Srilanka shld win.

All the photos, I'll be sharing in flicker and will provide the link in my next blog... Gudnight friends...

uhhhh what a bad morning

As usual took 25 mins just to travel 3 1/2 kms. From home to office. Its not b'coz my bad driving, but traffic is like hell now a days @ jakkasandra... From Agara, via Jakkasandra till koramangala, my routine drive to office has become a "day"mare for me. :-(. Once we reach office, most of our energy would have been squeezed out. While posting this blog, am in such a situation... Hmm lemme start working...

Whewww what a miss

Hmm yes that was a miss... Think what ? Yup my friend missed the bus in which he was supposed to travel back to kerala. Morning he had come.. Mr. Nandu, my childhood friend... a great fan of "che" :-). What not we've done those days.. hannn.. It was a quick visit for him.. went back today itself. Had wonderful dinner at "Kairali", (Appavum chicken porichathum :-)). Kept of waiting for the bus to come... n meanwhile watching lovely girls flying around. :-). A misscommunication, it was not Kallada, but Kalpaka, wonder what, its the bus name to kerala. Checked with all Kallada volvos which passed by... n finaly realised that he was supposed to board kalpaka which had already gone past he he heeeeee... thank god it didn't happen to me :). Immediately took a rick and chased the bus... not me this time him alone... hope he might have got it.... Tomorrow hopefully I'll wake up with his call, hearing all those words in mallu, for which there is not meaning in the dictionary... gud night folks...

Bought a new Canon S5-IS yesterday

Hmmm a long time ambition got fullfilled yesterday. Took my frnd Manoj, who claims to be a good ameture photographer :-) (Hmm yes hez: visit http://www.ismanoj.com/) to a well known grey shop here in b'lore and took the latest Canon S5-IS with all accessories. Costed me around 19,700/-. Spec says 8mp, 12x optical zoom which is good enough for a starter like me to go for professional / non-professional shoots. Hmmm am happy that there is so much to learn now on this and get my time utilized in a fruitful way.

Why this blog site

School days I had a habbit of writing my personal diary. Technology has grown so big, that we stopped using 3 fingures to hold a pen instead use all fingures to type up the things. :-). And now I feel there are many things for me to share now in public. So no more personal. Heyy folks you can know more on me and my day to day activities from now on in this blog. Feel free to share your comments with me... Love you all... Take care....

A thought on me

To start with, lemme share a thought on me :-)
